Beshear should just say he was told McConnell was dead. And proceed to hold the special election. what are the Republicans gonna do in that situation.
Whether Mitch is dead or not isn’t the most relevant thing here. He cannot do his job and needs to be replaced. The governor needs to call a special election and get someone who can do the job
