      This is a few months old. Luckily there seems to have been a concerted effort to avoid this… but IDK now that the old guard seems a lot more powerful.

      i bet a shower and getting haircut and shaving is the first thing that fella gonna get will be the best thing ever

      also a ukrainian SF operator said: „we are not heroes. the true heroes are the regular infantry in the trenches on the front line holding it“

      It’s good for troops in the field to perform basic hygiene, shave etc for morale. It’s not always easy, but officers need to enforce it. That said, God knows what these guys have been through so I better shut the fuck up now.

      Man mit must be hell living in caves and trenches basically out in the open for months on end. So uncomfortable. I would be fed up after three days.

      Despite the differences in our lives, we can all relate to the feeling of life after grief.

      Four months in the trenches will grow you a beard like that and put those kinds of eyes on a person, the man earned every bit of rest he’s getting now.
