      Isn’t the prices for a ticket the same or next day usually way more expensive? I think a more accurate measurement would have been to take the prices a week ago and see if there was still an increase.

      Except this isn’t really how airfares work. You should track one way airfares from EZE to JFK on a same-day flight for the next 30 days to get an accurate idea of what walk-up pricing for a flight is.

      I’m sure there’s a price spike for today/tomorrow; but not nearly as bad as your plot makes it out to be.

      This is just how airfare works no? the longer out the date, the cheaper the flight?

      I’m genuinely curious how many Argentinians can afford the $12,000 – $20,000 USD it would cost to attend this game. That’s basically an entire year’s salary for the average worker in that country.
