I only use OneDrive for porn to fuck up their training data on me
Why…. Is this even news we care about? People really out there reaching for anything to post lol…
But they said they couldn’t
Now do the hundreds of other accounts that have had the same happen to them.
That reminds me I need to rclone my Google account and stick rotate the drive in the safe deposit box. Likewise it has my son’s baby photos. It isn’t like Google couldn’t or wouldn’t.
Anyone else think it should be illegal to use AI or automated reviews for appeals, every appeal should have a human look at it.
Damn the hacker known as Microslop.
But they said they couldn’t 🤨
So they were openly lying….
Glad it worked out for him, but this proves you need backups in two different locations with different providers.
This is why backups are important. I’m a photographer. My photo library is over 10tb stored on a nas. Backed up to the cloud plus a hard drive I keep in a safe
I encrypt anything I upload to Google Drive and OneDrive with my own keys, and keep redundant physical backups in several different fire-proof safes in different locations (I literally have a monthly routine, it’s been called overkill before).
And I use different Google and Microsoft accounts for different uses, so if one account gets banned or deleted for one thing, no other account is affected.
I’m happy to take advantage of whatever free storage is offered by cloud services for an absolute last case scenario for data recovery, but I’ll never fully trust it and I always keep in mind that they can take it away whenever they want.
It’s amazing how many times “there isn’t a backup” or “we can’t physically do that” are proven to be “you want what?? My lazy ass ain’t about to do that…”
They can never again be allowed to say they’re „unable to do anything.“
Isn’t that nice of them after doing this after all the backlash they were getting?
Why the heck would your Xbox account be the only place you store baby photos??
Funny, my giant hard drive doesn’t seem to have this problem.
For this guy, they did. All the other people this happens to that don’t have a notable following are just shit out of luck, I guess.
