The truth of ignoring climate change comes home to roost. Time to find someone else to blame, like Canada.

Every Canadian in Canada tells those 4 Republicans to fuck off since they’ve done nothing to stop their president from trying to ruin the world.

WTF do we care?
If you lived in an apartment above a meth-head, would you really care about any incoherent screeching you heard from them whenever they were tripping balls?
They’ve gone full regard. Best thing we can do is ignore them until they start making sense again.

Yeah? And the Republicans assisted in the reinstatement of a rapist pedophile who is out to destroy the united states.

Extremely ignorant and dangerous words.
*“This is the third consecutive year we have had to write to Canadian officials about a crisis that Canada has the tools to prevent and has chosen not to,“ write the four Michigan Republicans — John James, Jack Bergman, John Moolenaar and Lisa McClain — in a letter dated Wednesday.*
*“Our hospitals are once again treating children, dialysis patients and older residents for the effects of smoke that did not originate anywhere near them.“*
*The Republican lawmakers say they are „done accepting apologies in place of action,“ and float the idea of taking cross-border fire prevention into U.S. hands.*
planemissediknow on
*“Sovereignty comes with responsibility, and the responsibility to prevent a foreseeable disaster from crossing into another country’s airspace has not been met,“ they wrote.*
While we do need to do everything we can to deal with the fires and prevent them, that quote about sovereignty and what they’re implying tells you all you need to know about these Republicans

Turn off the coal-fired power plants, data centre turbines, and stop all vehicular traffic.

Well they’re not entirely wrong. Ford did cut the fire budget in half. Not sure about other provinces but it wouldn’t surprise me.
That said, US Congress pointing a finger at us when we help them out every year with their forest fires is rich

Oh —- off. How meany times have YOUR wildfires spilled over into Canada exactly?
Yes Ford is an incompetent greedy baboon and if you want to lay blame at his feet for cutting funding meant to deal with wildfires then fine, but don’t be complaining about Canada in general when you’re historically just as bad if not worse. If you have an issue with Canada’s wildfires how about you lend support to try and help put them out.
