Let’s trade water for wine.
I mean, obviously we should help where we can but this is just scary. we ourselves are having a drought and the future will only get worse. we need to find a solution for the future to secure our water supply.
It is asking Ticino to increase the river flows mostly. And Ticino currently is less impacted by drought compared to the rest of the country, [it is just very dry and not extremely dry](https://www.trockenheit.admin.ch/)

Sounds like a good idea to start with these deals, other countries are going to need similar agreements in the future, it’s going to be our n1 strategic resource
I watched the Stanley Tucci program the other night, where he visits a rice farm in northern Italy. I would suggest that Italy should make sure that water is used with more common sense first.

Lombardy, another region that constantly asks for more water from Switzerland, has a leakage rate of 31.8%
Instead of asking for more water, they should fix their problem.
