      The USA’s strategic oil reserve is nearing 300 million barrels. That’s a level that starts creating problems. Officially there’s a level where the president needs Congress‘ approval and it’s a few weeks away.

      I think the US wants a ground war; it’s the only true way out since negotiations will get nowhere. They will provoke, incite and attack until Iran makes a move big enough to justify to congress its go time.

      Can someone explain who actually controls the Strait of Hormuz right now? I notice Chinese vessels seem to pass through without any issues.

      At this point I’m pretty sure the only way things end quickly is if Trump admits publicly that this was a huge mistake he can’t fix and begs NATO to go for an all out blitz to eliminate every last piece of the regime including boots on the ground and in exchange he will resign.

      It’ll never happen.

      I hope there aren’t any oil tankers sinking and spilling oil. The whole place will be nothing but an environmental disaster much larger than Valdez.

      The US is going to be doing boots on the ground at some point. It can’t be Israel unfortunately because if they fight their own war then they might not be able to afford to have universal healthcare and affordable college anymore.
