Was waiting when they were going to hit it again.
Engels-2 Air Base is a strategic military airbase located in Saratov Oblast, Russia, approximately 14 kilometers east of the city of Engels. Operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces under the Long-Range Aviation branch, it serves as the primary hub for Russia’s strategic bomber fleet and is the sole operating location for the Tupolev Tu-160 (Blackjack) supersonic nuclear-capable bombers.
The base hosts the 22nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Division, including the 121st Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment (Tu-160M) and the 184th Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment (Tu-95MS). These aircraft have been central to Russia’s cruise missile campaigns against Ukraine since the 2022 invasion, prompting multiple Ukrainian drone attacks on the facility, including significant strikes in December 2022, January 2025, and March 2025 that damaged munitions and infrastructure
I like how things are going.
* Some day it’s 2 refineries in a single day.
* Some days it’s 20 ships from the shadow fleet.
* Some days it’s several electrical stations.
* Some days it’s military air fields.
* Some days it’s whatever the fuck Ukraine feels like hitting.
Russia can keep on guessing, but can never guess where to place air defense for future attacks. air defense that they’re running out of faster than they can replace them.
Please let them hit some more bombers. Or take out the fuel tanks.

They’re going to need bigger tires…
Russian AA seems to have a real problem with detecting, tracking and engaging drones. It would probably work fine for a large slow non stealthy B52 at altitude.
It also seems to have a pretty high defect rate. I’m waiting for Ukraine 🇺🇦 to start hitting the AA units around Moscow, that’ll really freak them out.
