    Eine der Karten auf der Wiki-Seite „FIFA World Cup En“ zeigt aus irgendeinem Grund die besetzte Krim als Teil Russlands


    Wenn man bedenkt, wie viel Aufmerksamkeit diese Wiki-Seiten während der Weltmeisterschaft erhalten, ist es traurig, einen solchen Fehler zu sehen. Eine weitere Karte weiter unten auf der Seite zeigt die Ukraine korrekt.

      Is this surprise to anyone? I mean, it’s FIFA. One of the most corrupted organizations in existance.

      Implying it’s a mistake. They knew exactly what they were doing. It’s FIFA we’re talking about.

      Because Infantino loves dictators like Putin, Trump and the various Middle Eastern monarchies. Makes it easier for him to ignore minor annoyances like human rights and focus on maximising money for himself and his cronies to steal.

      The main page where that image is sourced from is not locked from editing. 

      Instead of complaining, just go and fix it.

      Looks like it have nothing to do with FIFA or Wikipedia. That map is taken from [www.openstreetmap.org](https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/60189#map=3/60.54/93.69)

      According to [openstreetmap](https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Crimea) the policy is to update border according to reality on the ground rather than recognized international borders etc. Kinda makes sense, when 2 countries have a dispute there are 2 official realities and for openstreetmap to remain neutral they choose the side that actually controls the area.

      That’s why it’s Russian territory, because it’s under Russian occupation. I bet they will change it in the near future. Stay strong Ukraine.

      FIFA’s just evil, idk why countries tolerate it. All of the sane nations of earth should leave and create a new football league

      Might just be the content editors. I’m sure they’re flooding stuff like that for propaganda etc. might even have setup bots to periodically check and edit if people change it

      Crimea will always be Ukraine.

      Everyone makes mistakes. Ask FIFA to correct it.

      idk, seems everyone agrees Crimea is part of Ukraine.
