Wonder what the pro-femicide/FAFO crowd has to say about this.
Edit: You can downvote me all you want but in yesterday’s thread people we’re massively justifying the murder, while the sentence shows that the court doesn’t buy that line of reasoning either.
People might say prison isn’t enough, but this is Japanese prison where every single moment of the criminal’s life is managed very strictly. You can’t even speak or write without permission. It’s not enough to bring justice to the victim but we can be assured that the criminal will suffer tremendously.
16 years for a cold-blooded, public, premeditated murder. Thank God he wasn’t in possession of weed.

in Japan while they’re care and understand the concept of mental health and it’s illnesses, I still see many people in there even people who work in the health sector took it like a joke.

Meh I’m not going to defend the girl but the sentence isn’t unfair, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time and all that 🤷 I’m sure being in prison is slightly better than being homeless and hopefully he can get therapy or something

Sentence deserved but the victim wasn’t innocent at all like some people are claiming in this thread. She got the karma she put out.
Did she deserve to be murdered? I won’t decide. But she was a piece of shit.

Honestly kinda sad. Did she deserve to die? No. But did she reap what she sowed? Yes. Not only did she take advantage of him but she drove him to do what he did.
Another thing, the law failed him miserably in enforcing her to repay what she owed him and in the sentencing. Overall a loss of life in both accounts.
For context: She manipulated him and sent fake pics of her at the hospital and made up things like having cancer to push him into giving her all of his savings. Then to take out predatory loans. When he sued her for not paying him back when she said she would, she hid all of her money in corporate accounts thanks to her agency. Since the dude would’ve needed money he no longer had (apparently he was reaching starvation levels of poor), he had nothing else to lose, so he tracked her down, and killed her while she livestreamed. It was later revealed she was (obviously) doing this to other people as well.
Killing her was never the answer, but she was a sociopathic monster as well. And given how much money you would’ve needed to proove she had more money than she led on, and that only broke people would ever try to target her, she would’ve likely ruined many more lives. I also believe this led to some more regulations when it comes to these kinds of interactions (mainly to protect streamers, not so much viewers from them). So at least somethign good came out of it.
