    1. It’s only a matter of time before tourists turn their backs on Southern Europe for peak summer holidays due to the heat, and start finding cooler places in Northern Europe.

      Costa del Sol? Nah. Harmaarannikko.

Yyerti is a interesting one, its fairly small and on a hot day its packed and all the cars was a nightmare. Couple of meters between the next person isn’t that enjoyable but I have also been there when it was calm which was really nice.

I don’t think it would be sustainable at all unless they develop it further and it will lose its charm.

    3. I’m so sad that they closed the nudist beach function due to some local perverts.

Are they aware Yyteri is in Pori? You literally have to been in Pori to visit Yyteri.

Hotel is in foreclosure, no restaurant, no bar, no shop. Yyteri is wasted. Even the gas station is closed that was once a hub for locals.

    6. I (Aussie with Finnish parents) visited Yyteri last year. I thought it was beautiful. The biggest surprise was how quiet it was. I am used to Beaches next to an ocean, with loud crashing waves so it was so strange to me, but lovely and peaceful.

      Finland shouldn’t embrace tourism.

But if we do, Kalajoki is known for the women too and not only the beaches. Better than Yyteri
