You again?
Please bring some more info to the post. What about the Hymn to Inana as Ninegala? What’s the synopsis of that which supports your theory?
Definitely doesn’t seem like something they would willingly wear at least
More bullshit…
Oh I just thought it meant they were gay
Guys like you should try reading actual books for once
Okay so even if it was a historical indication of prostitution what makes you think that this is the case here? Like any evidence besides just a feeling would be nice.
Bautista is wearing diamonds
Bautistas necklace is still not pearls from the last time you posted
Describe in detail what your “studies” have entailed.
In the Sumerian hymn A Hymn to Inana as Ninegala (Inana D), there is a passage describing the goddess Inana taking on the persona of a prostitute. It reads in translation:
„The pearls of a prostitute are placed around your neck, and you are likely to snatch a man from the tavern.“
That doesn’t really lead me to any conclusions about Hollywood, 3,800 years later.
The Bible doesn’t have much on it in relation to prostitutes:
Revelation 17:4 — The „Great Prostitute“ (Babylon) is adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, symbolising wealth, luxury, and corruption.
Revelation 18:11–16 — Merchants mourn the fall of Babylon because no one buys their luxury goods, including pearls.
It’s more likely, as it has been through history, a sign of wealth and luxury.
Pretty much all major celebrities get used and abused. You are not going to reach a global fame without selling yourself and doing heinous acts on tape
Wearing pearls doesn’t automatically mean you sell your body for sex. It means that you took a necklace created by robbing oysters of their pearls and put it around your neck. In general, pearls mean ‚I have money‘ and are absolutely a status symbol.
You mentioned the symbolism, and that’s been a status of wealth and status since around 2300 BC. In Rome, Julius Ceaser went so far as to make a law making it illegal to wear pearls unless you held status. It wasn’t until Columbus landed in the Americas that they saw all the natives wearing them that they realized they were common to begin with. But, then fishing went wild, and the oysters dried up making them rare again. Then a guy found a way to create them artificially, and things split a bit.
Before the modern world, only men wore pearls. The Chinese wore them for status, and the polynesians wore them as a protection amulet. King Henry VII wore pearks. Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh famously wore pearl necklaces and earrings. You can find a ton of Indian paintings depicting the Maharajas men wearing pearls.
It wasn’t until modern stars, like Marilyn Monroe, started pushing them that suddenly it was a mark of feminism. So really, they are a primarily a mens accessory that was temporarily turned into a female accessory for less than a century. The hoodwink is that guys shouldn’t be wearing pearls, not the other way around.
Yeah Batista is literally wearing a regular tennis chain

Did you know when a man wears short sleeves it’s a sign of femininity? It dates back to the Persian empire, and it’s totally a valid theory of mine that I just made up right now
TIL all male celebrities are prostitutes
Ok bud
Cool
I wouldn’t say prostituted… “pearl necklace” from what I’ve heard actually means being ejactulated on on and around the neck area. Kind of similar?
Pearl necklace kinda goes hard, and jewellery is popular on male celebrities.
I was devastated at the lack of Marge Simpson or Lisa Simpson, two of histories most storied wearers of pearls
They wear a different pearl necklace in private
Or, you know, they like pearls …
How do you filter out cases when the pearl necklace is worn as a fashion or personal statement?
I was in my twenties before my wife explained what zzTopp pearl necklace was about.
„First he gave her the emeralds, then he gave her the pearls“
There’s no shortage of rich creepy gay dudes out there, finding out at 40 every week, see how ladies feel now. What’s the most manly band shirt or what cmon, I hate the attempts dude, I don’t swing silly there Chahli, been tempted by the ugly and the rich happen to be both, untemptable I’d rather be poor and have me soul.
I never even noticed until now…. Down the rabbit hole I go.
dang those wealthy elites sure do a lot of sex
Not that type of pearl necklace
For the record, I wouldn’t put my dick in anyone one of these fellas. Maybe Justin, but I’d have to clear it with my wife
Look up the lyrics to zz top – pearl necklace
It’s only gay if you do it for free!
Pearl necklaces mean the annunaki used Egyptians to harvest gold.
Same amount of evidence to support my claim
I have literally been thinking about this…not the pearl necklace but the prostitution of guys etc. I personally think that the Kardashians pretend to “date” these people when they are actually training/pimping them with some consent.
I think Sofia Richie was pumped by Scott Disick and I think Kris Kardashian is a yacht madam. I think Timothee Chalamet and Jacob Elordi are in the same situation with the Jenner sisters.
Pearls = my a$$hole is for sale
Now I’m going to think that any time I see them lol
Some actual facts here: pearl necklaces (along with candy bracelets) were a fashion trend among young dudes in the 90s, particularly in rave culture. Didn’t necessarily meant anything regarding sexuality.
Though it was actually Tim Curry that was rocking the pearls back in the 70s for Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I’m not saying I agree with your theory, but I do find it odd that I haven’t ever seen a man wear a pearl necklace in real life, and see very few pearl necklaces even among the wealthy people I know in real life, and yet there are a lot of celebrity men wearing them. I just find it a bit odd. I mean I guess celebrities are more likely to wear jewelry, so that may be part of it, but yeah. It does seem odd to me.
Good gawd this sub is a hot mess. You’re all in on it. I’m out.
Ain’t a mother fucker on earth that is paying to fuck weezy
This is so dumb.
