I know China, New Zealand, Argentina, Australia and Japan have also made this kind of world maps centering around their countries.

What is the Amazonia Azul? I’ve never heard this term before.
Is it simply a romantic term for Brazil’s EEZ?

Let’s talk about unintended consequences. Brazil now needs to change it’s flag too.
The stars on the Brazilian flag are shown in the Southern Hemisphere. By rotating South to the top, the stars on the flag need to be rotated to the upper part of the blue circle on the flag.
they seem to have insecurity for being mostly in the south

I don’t disagree the core idea, but splitting in half several countries is not a smart move.
At least the „Eurocentric“ map doesn’t split countries in two

This is how maps were usually drawn in Europe well into the Renaissance.
Nowadays just astrological charts still have south on top (MC in natal charts) and east (Ascendent) on the left.
