Ich frage mich – hat Sie jemals eine KI hier in der Schweiz angerufen? Sei es auf Englisch oder, wahrscheinlich noch seltener, auf Deutsch?

Not really. There are some scam calls but nothing in the way you see from the us.
Well I tryed this yesterday, the bot was using pre recorded sentences so no way to make it crazy as in the video …

I’m waiting and hoping for an AI bot to answer my phone and deal with the annoying calls on my behalf.
So far I only had prerecorded message about europol wanting to arrest me
Dozens of spam calls every day but the iPhone and Swisscom filtering features block 99% of them (I can see the attempted incoming calls in call logs)
My phone is set so that any call from a number not in my contacts goes straight to voicemail. If important they’ll leave a message. No AI has ever left a message (yet?).
Realistically it could happen, live voice assistants are becoming really, really good fast and convincing; you can check what eleven labs makes or google Gemini live api
I’m almost surprised scammers haven’t started massively using them, might be because of the cost or some safeguards, only one I had was the police want to arrest you automatic message
