      Of course, the Big Businesses that receive tariff refunds from the government are not only going to not pass off any tariff credit to the consumers, but they are going to keep the spike in their pricing that they blamed on tariffs. The way things are going in this country, the tariff refunds will go to pay super-inflated executive bonuses.

      They create tariffs, force the price gouging, we pay.

      Tariffs rescinded, companies get more money back, we don’t get anything. Still pay.

      The whole game is just the top percentiles seeing how much they can siphon until something/anything even remotely noticeable happens in response. Once they realized there’s no more consequence, the whole game was hijacked by the worst among us.
