Ich habe ein paar Metallringe in die Deckeltasche meiner Rucksäcke eingenäht, an denen ich Dinge wie Schlüssel, Stirnlampen und andere Kleinigkeiten befestigen kann. Man kann sie zwar griffbereit haben, aber sie neigen dazu, unbemerkt zu verschwinden.

I just keep an extra key in my wallet, and my wallet in my pocket. haven’t locked myself out of a car since 2004, I think.

get carabiners with locking gates, those clips do drop things and i know this from experience

My pack has a little clip in the top pocket for keys.
Finally!!! I feel you, bro. I do something similar but i just attach the keys using a safety pin inside my backpack.
That’s stupid dude. Get a faraday lockbox for under your car, keep key there. You might lose your whole backpack. Just keep the key at your car. Nobody is digging under your driveshaft for a black oil caked lockbox. And you should know exactly where it is. This is too much time for thieves.
