      He got a glow up. She got cancer and a mastectomy. They split up. Hmmm. Seems like a story I hear a lot.

      For someone that’s in the entertainment industry that’s like being reincarnated seven times with the same partner.

      I feel like Segura performed with a lot of better comics in the early 2010s when I was going to a lot of comedy shows, but after a little while I realized he didn’t have the juice and what he did have was a lot more repulsive.

      At least ‚the poors‘ can rejoice.

      He seems very insufferable. Enjoyed his earlier comedy but he evolved into this self entitled era like he’s some kind of comedy god whose done his rounds. Couple-of-specials and a podcast bro, and there’s a hundred of them already.

      I used to love Tom Segura and Christina P back in the day. I was hung up for podcasts and fell into the YMHs sphere around 2016. I would listen to it every week while working and then listen to older episodes to catch up.

      I genuinely loved it and would laugh constantly. I hated bert but they always made fun of him. I hated Schwab and they would always make fun of him.

      It was during Covid that I did a hard stop. Podcasts had started to become increasingly political and I was getting sick and tired of hearing comedians give political criticism. Tom was also starting to increasingly become proud of how disassociated he was from the regular people (the poors he calls them).

      It came to a head when they did a Covid, premium show that cost 10$ to listen to. Someone on the YMH reddit linked me a copy and it was one of the grossest things I heard.

      That killed it for me.

      I listened to Tigerbelly for a little bit after but fell off that because everyone kept sharing the same story.

      I haven’t listened to a comedy podcast since 2021.
