      Saw another article where it says that the buyers are mainly from Republic of China, not People’s Republic of China

      Investing in Japanese real estate, where the population is shrinking every year and real estate usually looses most of its value after 40-50 years seems interesting. People form China seem to be very focused on real estate when investing, either domestic or abroad and avoiding equities and securities.

      No country should permit this, foreigners should be heavily restricted from buying residential property.

    6. It’s really wild how so many foreigners are to blame for Japan’s issues except for the one cohort that seems to be immune to every anti-foreigner measure Japan has been taking in its xenophobic tirade lately.
