      No it didn’t. The easiest way to tell is by looking at footage from the spider cam itself.

      If a ball hits a supporting wire of a camera, the camera will be moved.

      They have released the footage from that camera and there is no such movement. It is in fact the second clip in this video. At the point the ball „changes path“ you would see the camera bounce. It doesn’t it stays completely still.

      All other evidence is „If you look at these three pixels you can clearly …“

      No, you can’t see. You can’t see anything at all.

      Edit: Clearly Norway has written some kind of news report on it and you’re all experts. Mate of mine racks cameras for the Premier League. His response when I asked him about this was „I think you’re bringing logic where it isn’t welcome … but you’re absolutely right“

      Yeah, whatever. The game’s over, and such a small thing should not overturn the results of an entire match. I was cheering for my country all the time and got frustrated when we lost, but you have to accept the loss at some point.

      Even if it did hit the wire, did that stop the five defenders between the England player and the goal, or the goalie from adequately defending? No, it didn’t. This discourse is absurd.

      England were clearly the better team for the majority of the match and absolutely deserved the win. Don’t diminish the achievements of others because you’re a sore loser!

      The wire must have tied up the defenders legs as well given the ball landed in England’s half and they still couldn’t defend the attack

      The ball was picked up by an England player in Norway’s half of the pitch. The goal was scored by an England player with SIX Norwegian players immediately around him.

      Any claim of an at-best marginal impact with a camera wire really is a nothingburger.

      I find it rather crazy that we are 2 days out with no conclusive evidence it hit the spider cam, and yet claims continue to be made that Norway were robbed. Somehow there is an expectation that VAR should have overruled something within 2 minutes that still isn’t proven 2 days later.

      Add to that, that it meant the ball dropped at the half way line. It didn’t drop to the player that scored, or into the box itself.. It dropped to the half way line, and that’s what caused Norway to be robbed?

      I find it quite odd the amount of impact people put on referees when teams have 120 minutes of football to win where this isn’t a wrong penalty being awarded to England for example. And yet they think that a chance it hit a wire on the half way line decided the game.

      Stop whining about the ball hitting a wire. Instead, start whining about migrants. As usually.

      The Line is dubious ans hard to tell.
      But that isn’t the real issue.

      The real issue is the norwegian goal that got ANNULED due to England doing Oscar worthy acting.

      While Haaland did without denial push back.
      If you see from other angles, you clearly see the English player pushing hard against Haaland, and the giant beast of a man Haaland is, when he pressed back against the force, the English player immidietly let go of his push in order to be sendt backwards.

      THAT is the real crime in that game.
