Die weißrussische Olympiasiegerin Aliaksandra Herasimenia wurde in Warschau angegriffen
Am Morgen des 10. Juli näherte sich Herasimenia am Busbahnhof Warszawa Zachodnia von hinten einem unbekannten Mann, schlug ihr auf den Kopf und ging dann sofort davon. Der ehemalige Schwimmer meldete den Vorfall der Polizei, die Berichten zufolge einräumte, dass es schwierig sein könnte, den Angreifer zu identifizieren.
Wird der Verdächtige gefunden, könnte der Fall als leichte Körperverletzung eingestuft werden, es sei denn, die ärztliche Untersuchung ergibt schwerwiegendere Verletzungen.
Herasimenia, eine lautstarke Unterstützerin der Proteste in Belarus im Jahr 2020, wurde von den belarussischen Behörden in Abwesenheit zu elf Jahren Gefängnis verurteilt und erhielt in Polen politisches Asyl. Es bleibt unklar, ob der Angriff zufällig war oder mit ihren öffentlichen und politischen Aktivitäten zusammenhängt.

I mean: such things not always happen to celebrities and not always are „serious enough“ to report to the authorities and be covered by media, right?

I hate people that carry the anger caused by political affairs on to innocent People.. Like in that case or the story about that bus guy that talked shit to a child… it’s not a solution. we’re all humans tho, we should treat each others with mutual respect and seek a rational way to solve issues. anger and hatred is not a way, it’ll only drive us to another stupid war that takes lifes in the name of fucking nothing. and those people call themselves Catholics? Patriots? there’s nothing Catholic or Patriotic about them. Nothing. Zero. Null. the way society is nowadays just makes breaks my heart.. it’s sad tho..
