Interested to know if this US/Iran data is pre-2026 Iran war or not. Since no doubt that would wildly skew opinions based on who people think is at fault for the current war – the US would be majorly considered the one at fault in this case – but before the war it was probably more in support of them I would say

It’s hilarious to my, that certain Middle Eastern countries, supposedly side with Palestine – but factually countries that rather side with Israel are the ones that sent SIGNIFICANTLY more aid for displaced. E.g., Germany.

This graphic would be interest if it included a 3rd dimension of actual aid-sent to either country.
The majority in Egypt support Ukraine, not Russia. No one supports Russia except for a minority influenced by Russian propaganda, but the remaining majority (including most conservatives themselves, and even the government) supports Ukraine, as they see the war as an act of **aggression** against it.
As a Brazilian am kind of proud of my country, anti Americanism is pretty common here so I was expecting a majority to support the Russian invasion of Ukraine or Taiwan being conquered by China or support the IRGC. Glad too see that is not the case. The support of Israel is not surprising tho we are a very Christian nation.
Ukraine being the most pro-Israel should be a sign to anyone that tries to equate the situation between the two countries by saying Russia and Israelcarw doing the same thing.

With the callouts present it’s cluttered and the callout obscure and distort the visualization.
Do the size of the bubbles indicate population of each country?
that data point is disingenuous as the entire country was polled and responded, which we know they weren’t.
So, generally speaking, people are not really interested in an international conflict unless their nation is affected.
It would be interesting to see how this data relates to the local media coverage of international conflicts.
Edit: I assumed if light and dark grey exceeds %50 on a matter in a country, public in that country does not have strong opinions on that matter. My conclusion is that, public may not be as interested with international conflicts as I expected. I noticed that countries involved or affected by any conflict, blue or orange bars dominate (as expected). However, there are some exceptions, for which I wonder how their media covers international news.
So the vast majority of world population is Russia/Palestine
Most interesting one: Palestine is only +14 for Iran over US with a huge don’t know percentage Wayv less than I expected.
Akso Puerto Rico and DR more pro US than US (with in margin of error at least)
Seems about right for Hungary. We really don’t care that much about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
