In Feudalism the leading class was also part of the system and had to participate. A King and/or their children needed to lead from the front, taking part in the same activities and establishing contacts with their people
This is a fascist approach, where the ones in power, together with their families, hide far away from the action, ruling by deputies and are not part of their own system but standing beyond it. Hiding in bunkers while „their“ people die because of their decision.
Tech-Facism is the right term to use, and they proof on a daily bases that they are nothing else.

To be fair the article doesn’t say they prohibit the use of phones and social media etc., but they set limits on usage. This is what we should all be doing and what is widely encouraged anyway.

To focus a bit on the youth, the most famous YouTube children’s channels are highly curated forms of visual crack available to baby and toddler brains. When I first watched one of them, I could see the poison seeping through the screen. The rapid cuts. The colours. The music and sounds. Everything. They’re literally optimized in a clinical setting by measuring attention spans of children, while the experts rake in upwards of 25,000 USD per day for consultation.
These people don’t care about billions of other children, as long as their kids are safe and their wallets are full. They know they have and currently are creating a generation of children with behavioural and development problems. This is only talking about the children, the effects on adults is also profound.
It’s clear that unchecked social media has had a net-negative impact on society. As per usual, governments are 10 years too late, either through lobbied efforts or because they don’t comprehend the implications of technology in their old age.
