Comfortable bargain? I would not call being under the domain of a foreign country comfortable.
As much as I hate the push for boosting the Japanese military, I am not naive. This is necessary if Japan wants to become independent from US.
Japan was built by Americans and so was their economy. The glory days are over and now It’s a dying country on an isolated rock with no resources. Their tech sucks, the people are extremely xenophobic, their corporate culture is hideous and their policies for tackling these issues are straight up retarded.
