For anyone wondering, the ‚fifth state of matter‘ being referenced here is a Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC). It happens when atoms are cooled down to a fraction of a degree above absolute zero, causing them to lose their individual identities and clump together into a single ’super-atom‘ that behaves macroscopically according to quantum mechanics rules
