Im not sure i believe Zelensmy here. Not to say their couldn’t be members in Russia high government that want peace but we need to see action first more then anything

Would laugh if he’s saying this so that a bunch of Putin loyalists accidentally trip and fall out a balcony.

Hah who cares if it’s true, it makes the enemy paranoid and spend energy on something that may or may not be true. Good tactic lol

As much as I hope that means progress towards peace, can’t help but think it’ll mean a Putin crackdown, just for the *possibility* of it being true.

For peace? I doubt thats new, but withdrawing from all of Ukraine? That I’d love to see.

Is agreeing to peace with Putin’s circle the best option? Doesn’t change anything if Putin still has power over Russia meaning in a few years they can try again once they rebuild their economy and military.

Russia go home. Leave crimea and everywhere you aren’t wanted. War ends.

btw, and I’m not sure how this news was skipped on reddit,

but somebody posted a $277,000 bet that Putin won’t be president by the end of this year. with all the insider shit going on in the white house, wonder if they know something

Putin is dead meat. His days are numbered. His own inner circle will end up offing him. His war has been an absolute failure.

      Game over.

I mean even Trump is turning against Putin, so you know things are rough in the Kremlin. But of course all those dissenters could fall out windows and Putin could escalate even further to satisfy his own ego(and make everything worse for everyone in the process).

    11. I’m sure that is true. The oligarchs not directly enriching themselves from providing the military products and services, the ones seeing Ukraine inflicting billions of rubles damaging refineries and military production factories and infrastructure are certainly not happy campers.

    12. Yes it’s obvious. Russia has lost the war. Look at this article in the Economist by a sanctioned Russian oligarch, effectively begging the West not to punish Russia for this war. Specifically, not to give Russia to China. They lost and they know it.

It’s possible only because those Russians are losing money. If those Russians in Putin’s circle had seen Russia look like success they wouldn’t care for peace it’s only the fact that they are losing money or that Putin might take their money for war and genocide.

    14. win win situation, if this is true is hugue news, if it is a bluff Putin still will get more paranoid and maybe can break the inner circle of him

    15. Sounds like some people in Putin’s inner circle are gonna have a trip out the 5th floor window soon.

    16. Intro-Nimbus on

Likely. Everyone in his inner circle has to see that the war is not going in the direction they anticipated.

What the hell is even going on? There are so many conflicting reports. I just read that Putin is ramping it up. I’m so tired of wars. Can I just live a decent life?

    18. Nah.

Putin and his circle only know one language and that is destroy or be destroyed.

It’s total Game of Thrones stuff.

Is he talking about Trump? Acquiring Patriot missiles is a pretty big step toward peace.

With all of their heroes dead, they are now hyping a surrender they can spin.

Even if this isn’t true, I smile when I realize Putin is about to throw everyone out of a highrise window out of sheer paranoia.
