Ich bin vor ein paar Monaten nach Südkorea gezogen und war von der Fitnesskultur begeistert – insbesondere von der Menge an Outdoor-Fitnessstudios und Trainingseinrichtungen, die es im ganzen Land gibt. Als professioneller Kraft- und Konditionstrainer habe ich es genossen, das Land von einer Trainingseinrichtung nach der anderen zu erkunden.

      I’m all for gyms. But i feel like korea is not meant to have outdoor ones. wouldn’t the humidity cause rusting so fast?

      Some of them are the gyms on the US military posts in Korea. I mean, it’s physically in Korea but it has restricted access. lol

      For a sec, I thought ‚where’s that gym? I need to sign up when I go back to Korea.‘ 😂 I hate how I can’t drop barbarlls at most Korean gyms because they don’t have lifting platform and often has a floor below them. I always miss American gyms (and esp. good military post gyms) when I visit my family in Korea. Even the premium ones in Korea ain’t the same.

    3. I remember Koreans used to be absolutely god awful about re-racking weights. I wonder if that’s gotten better. Though to be fair, every country outside of the US in which I visited a gym has been this way.
