There are a number of media outlets pushing this story about Trump’s hare-brained „insurance policy“. None of them are talking about the subtext.
It is likely that this idea was planted in his head by Bibi Netanyahu, who knows that Iran won’t try to kill Trump (at least not yet), but he also knows that Trump is extremely gullible. Trump’s ego is such that he believes his death would justify nuking Iran. And he’d be dead, so the narcissist-in-chief wouldn’t care about the blowback.
Trump has just put a price on his own head, and Israel will surely be planning to take him out in a false-flag operation and blame it on Iran. The US media and Deep State, will see this as a win-win. They get rid of Trump and Iran at the same time.

There’s a member of the Aldobrandini family on Instagram who predicted the oil price surge way before Israel/US started bombing Iran. He basically told everyone: Sell all your stocks and dump everything into oil.
He also predicted that Trump played his role and that it’s time to abandon his character so I wouldn’t expect him to make it to 2027.
(The dude was on Air Force One, had photos from various meetings that never got media coverage, has been to different Rothschild estates, wine cellars and luxury hypercar collections so It’s highly unlikely to be a larp.)
From my perspective, the strategic objective has been apparent since the operation began. Given the repeated position that Iran must never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons, combined with the argument that the Iranian regime cannot be relied upon to uphold any agreement, there has effectively been only one logical trajectory. Against that backdrop, the current threats directed at the U.S. President do not fundamentally change the strategic picture. If anything, they merely reinforce a dynamic that was implicit from the outset rather than representing a genuine turning point.
Trump has a history of signaling major policy moves before they happen. In that context, the ultimate objective appears to have been set from day one. Everything that has unfolded since can be interpreted as an effort to build the international case that whatever comes next is both justified and necessary.
I suspect the Iranian leadership has reached the same conclusion. As recent events have demonstrated, there never seemed to be a genuine basis for a lasting agreement. The consequences are likely to be severe for Iran, but they will not stop at its borders. The geopolitical and economic effects are likely to be felt far more broadly.
Whatever happens next, it is difficult to imagine a return to the status quo that existed before this crisis. My expectation is that the current phase of events will reach a decisive point within the next three weeks.

This was also my first thought. Everyone knows how badly they hate the ceasefire and want the war to continue. Especially in regard to them having to withdraw from Lebanon. They have no loyalty to Trump and everything to gain.
