🍪🍪🍪🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🦷🦷🦷🪥🪥🪥

Remember it universally doubles as storage for your sewing kit when done

You are welcome. Please keep them all, to me they tast of dollar store and sawdust.

Wait… you actually keep cookies in those? I thought they came pre-filled with sewing kits.

      You are welcome 🇩🇰
I don’t think many Danish people eat butter cookies – it’s mostly for tourists (or do me fellow Danes disagree?)
But the cookies did put Denmark on the map and that is something

When I travel abroad for work, especially to Asia, I always bring these butter cookies as gifts for my colleagues, they really love them. There’s a reason why you can buy them in the tax free shop in CPH.

    6. My girlfriend, who moved here from Brazil, was ecstatic when she realized these were from Denmark. Apparently they’re popular there too.

People actually eat that shit? I remember these being the worst cookies in the world as a kid. Then I tasted them as an adult and almost vomited.

What cookies? Isn’t this the world’s largest producer of sewing kits?

    9. People here are only talking about sewing kits, but as an engineer on ships these make wonderful driptrays for leaking machinery and pipes everywhere in the engine room haha

    10. Jeg kender simpelthen ingen danske hjem hvor de her bliver spist? 😅🫣

I mean … I just think it’d be awkward if we were the ones that invented Polish cookies … Or Spanish cookies .. Or any other country cookies…

I’m sorry OP, but how can you eat that trash😂 i know very few danes who actually eat those, and they are well over 70 😅

    13. Just remember that these taste very very far off from real danish cookies.

all of my recipes are handwritten old ones and i am not sharing those. but, these will maybe help you to get going on your own real danish cookies. hope you can get the translation somewhat to work, and that you can find some real butter (from what i hear that may be the hardest part in the US).

    14. Would it surprise you, that Danish people dont really eat or like these?

They are very poor quality, compared to most other offerings available.

    15. I think I bought those in germany and they defi itely didnt taste like they should.

    16. I actually don’t think I’ve ever had one of these in my life now that I think about it

I used to live next to the factory that bakes them. Whole town smells like butter cookies.

    19. I’ve never seen a Danish person eat a Danish Butter Cookie.

I worked at the Jacobsen factory in Hedensted, and the smell of them still repulse me.
