    4. Considering a leading politician in the uk is about to go to the polls against a talking bin, are we sure Britain is stable enough to adequately manage this artefact?

    5. Just as a reminder: the museum in France which host it is undergoing massive renovation for several months.

      By lending the tapestry to the UK, the museum both make use of what would have been out of view anyways, and finance the costly renovation through the quite expensive price paid by the British.
