human rights abuses don’t matter if it effects Brookfield stock and Carney’s bank account.

I’m starting to think this guy doesn’t have our best interests at heart.

The corruption is unimaginable. It’s almost like they’re pushing it to see how far they can go with it while still having great polling numbers.

The most dangerous type of politician out there is one that people think knows what they are doing … because ordinary people don’t worry about what it is the politician is up to.

I have a question for carney supporters. Without name calling, or insulting or threatening me please explain why you think carney is such a great guy

No matter who you pick, you will get corruption. I’m just happy Carney isn’t stupid. Trudeau wasn’t only corrupt, he was an idealistic and entitled fool. That guy did so much damage.

I mean. This was a government body looking into corruption and human rights abuses in FOREIGN countries. Not Canada itself. It was created under Trudeau.
>*The prime minister responded by saying the government is working to improve its enforcement powers. He backed up his claim that the CORE had been ineffective by pointing out the office had only* [*launched one investigation*](https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/nike-dynasty-gold-uyghurs-canada-1.6903013)
And it’s only done one investigation since it was created. This feels less like an actual government body, and more of a cushion position Trudeau created for allies of his to hold.
I dislike what Carney has done lately, but it’s obvious CORE was nothing but a high paid government position to put the ruling parties allies in as a kick back.
The resources should be spent on investigating Canadian businesses upholding human rights IN CANADA, namely taking a look at the human trafficking program that is the TFW/International students/LMIA system.

Ok but this article gave no insight on wether or not CORE ( **Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise) was actually successful in its job, and I’m fairly certain this agency was only for complaints from Canadian companies operating in foreign countries.**
**The quotes and references they make in the article is from people who are upset about it being shut down.**
**but no where do they cite any numbers or actions that CORE took to justify its continued existence.**
**This whole article is pumped full of advertisements and has a lot of fluff with no actual substance asides from saying that this agency is being shut down and people are upset because it was doing stuff.**
