      Seems he got a bus to Dublin Airport in the early morning and then flew to Turkey.

      Wonder could they track via his mobile or social media use.

      Turkey seems like a country you could easily disappear in.

      Big population, millions of refugees.

      No one should be surprised at that, he had a head start as well. Should anyone be found to have helped the suspect I hope they get a lengthily sentence as well.

      I often wonder what future generations will think of us and the people in charge who see this happening again and again and aren’t taking quick and decisive actions to reduce the risk for people in Ireland (including other immigrants like this poor lady).

      If this person is found guilty, there needs to be changes made to how we better control immigration to ensure we’re allowing in safe people who come for work or genuine protection rather than anyone who shows up. It’s just not acceptable, hassle your local TD so they get a message.

      This is what people mean when they say open borders. There’s no border controls, provision of visas, or information gathering on who is entering or leaving our country.

      The operative functioning of our systems for administering justice, welfare, housing and health are being undermined by this.

      You cant expect closed systems like welfare, housing and health to work if they are being infinitely undermined by an uncontrolled influx of new service users.

      So what now for the family of the victim in this case, will the justice system be able to find the accused and bring them before the courts here? The guy has no ties to the place, and no verifable point of contact from wherever he’s from for the authorities to pursue as a lead in a criminal investigation.

      He’s in the wind.

      So he was an asylum seeker who flees justice back to where he he claimed asylum from. A region where he has many connections? Im starting to think he didn’t need asylum at all.

      Just a reminder that international protection in Ireland is a farce because tax payers money is funnelled into hoteliers and private landlords. Not into the administrative side of things which is why scumbags like this cunt are able to be here on our dime and then head home where he was „unsafe“. If we had more robust and effective administrative processing capabilities, he’d have been sent on a plane home. Not all international protection applicants are chancers or bad people. The system is broken because it only serves to benefit the wealthy.

      It is kind of interesting we don’t perform exit checks in Ireland like in Schengen. I know obviously there’s the border but surely something could be done

      There should be no circumstance where a person who is capable of doing something like this should be allowed to enter the country. Asylum or not.

      What kind of people are coming in that they just literally cannot stop committing violent crimes even after a short while here..It’s every other day.
