This is never shown in British media, the destruction of Russian oil and gas facilities is all over the news but the violent conscription of Ukrainian men isn’t. Time for the Ukrainian cheerleaders to see exactly how their side behaves, they’re not the hero’s that the MSM make them out to be.

It isn’t a conscription, it’s a mobilization. Conscription is the mandatory service for a year or two (depends on the branch), and after that you return to the civilian life as a reserve soldier or officer.
And then there’s a mobilization. This one has no time limit for service, you are taken until the war is declared over or you’re sent back by one reason or another. But to be mobilized you must be eligible for it. You must be healthy enough to be mobilized, but there are still lists of situations where people do not get mobilized (students used to be immune back in USSR, idk about now, if you work for the government already and so on)
In Ukraine it’s a wartime mobilization of pretty much anyone and it is said they grab everyone left and right even if you’re not eligible for a mobilization. In Russia there’s also a mobilization, but it backfired greatly (they tried to mobilize the conscripts and force them to sign the contracts) so they only try to grab the reserve officers.
Just wanted to point that out because not everyone understands how conscription and mobilization works and when I ask people from the west how the see both armies it’s quite often for me to hear that Ukraine is an army of conscripts that cannot end their service until the war ends (kinda but it’s not just them) while the Russia is the army of contractors that fight for the money or the fanatic volunteers
