Drones won’t upend the modern military order, we’ll just adapt them into a military. They aren’t the dreadnought, they’re the tank of our time.
My theory is that it’s only a matter of time before laser counter-measures are everywhere, drones become a nuisance instead of mortal danger, and then we go back to where we were. Keep in mind that this development is only like two-years old.
