I seriously don’t understand how FIFA still exists as an organization? It’s beyond corrupt and money hungry organization, I seriously don’t know why rest of the world is so surprised in how corrupt FIFA is after the whole trump thing, FIFA has been doing this since its founding, it should’ve never been hosted in Russia and Qatar but after the whole revelations of back curtain corrupt secret dealings with fifa heads and world leaders it should’ve been the end of it but of course money talks, there was also a huge FBI sting operation which led to the arrests of many fifa delegates for corruption, many still got off with a slap on the wrist, and sepp blater also got off Scot free, what a disgrace…

The hotel paid someone for it, everything in the US is corrupt. I do not believe this was meant to harm Norway. Its just how that country (and FIFA) works.

EDIT: I see that its been FIFA with the help of local organizers and hotel partners. My point still stands.

    3. Ah, come on! Norwegians say it was only some rooms, that it was sorted the same evening, and that it was not the reason they moved out.

Colombia stayed at the same hotel earlier, so it’s not like this is some deliberate insult against Norway.

People seriously need to get their shit together and stop believing in fairytales.

Doesn’t matter, Norway paid for an upgrade (moved to new hotel). I feel much worse for countries with very limited budget like Capo Verde or Iran who couldn’t sleep in US

    5. This is extremely exaggerated.. Sure, there were several issues, but the Norwegians wanted a hotel upgrade for better restitution and more facilities and they are paying themselves for the extra cost of upgrade. They are staying at this place for a whole week so it was important to them.

Most hotels on the beach in South Florida are somewhat moldy and not in great condition.

Of course FIFA does. We’ve seen the videos of Mexico City destroying any sense of peaceful rest. FIFA could have stopped that by putting teams in the same hotel/nearby. Across the board. But they do not. Ask where the USA teams stay… no mold, no blaring crowd noise on the street. It’s all rigged.

This World Cup has been nothing but a mess. The games have consistently been called poorly, the players are being treated poorly, fans have been treated poorly. The Orange man somehow got a card overturned… yeah super memorable World Cup for being, at the very least, the most disappointing one I’ve seen in my life time.

If FIFA put me up in the Arlington Best Western I’d take my own money and stay at Hotel Drover in the stockyards for $1400/night….cause I have it and FUCK THEM! I don’t care Norloth had to sleep in the fucking tub.

There’s a lot of poor building quality in the US in general…..comparing construction I’ve seen is sometimes quite shocking. It’s gotta be about saving money and profit I imagine. Also lack of maintenance, just wait till something breaks then “fix” or replace.

    13. Their new hotel is much nicer and has to be a great place for them to rest.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Fifa treated the players poorly or differently given the corrupt decision on the penalty for the US player after Trump called Infantino
