This is my fear, with all the propaganda going on in social media, the Palestinian cause is becoming fuel for anti Jewish sentiment.

Spain has shown how antisemitic they are.

This isn’t just a WTF. This isn’t even a professional workshop of „what went wrong“.

This is a „I’ve never even *considered* something this wild.“ The Ontario College of Teachers would offer these teachers as tributes to the media.

Im an American and a fierce liberal and the West as a whole has really suicided over time Palestine (and Arabs in general I guess). Shit like this makes it so much easier for the rightists to win like, in what world are we letting kids have a play and larp as Hamas..?

This is what happens when the entirety of leftism in the West was educated by ex-USSR political thinkers and strategists IMO. We banned all our homegrown communist thinkers because I don’t understand why things like this are tolerated/allowed to happen. That and also the what, 30+ million Arab refugees that Europe allowed into the continent, who don’t want to return to the Middle East and don’t assimilate (at least the 2nd gen don’t).

We are letting 2020 Woke and political correctness control what we say/do and the leftist figures that are fine with things like this will slowly take more and more of our liberal representation, along with the right becoming farther and farther right, because they are the only ones who will offer a solution ( looking at you AfD & US based groups like Popular Front & America First).

We are literally losing our Western democracies and eventually things will kick off between the leftists and rightists, once (from a US perspective) liberalism on the left and neoconservatism on the right dies out. It will be just like the Spanish Civil War, the Liberal coalition will be loosely held together and uncoordinated and the America First/Popular Front (unironic that the PF was the Republican Spain left coalition)/etc… will just roll over us Liberals. Because we are blind, except this time nobody will care and it won’t be a war, just this Russian/Iran/Chinese/NK botted online battle where liberals can’t/refuse to take hard stances and we will slowly lose our democracies.

People who warned about Islam in Europe were and still are shunned because Muslims are, in their way of thinking, intersectionally protected by their skin color. It’s crazy to think that the only thing needed to be praised for creating a Handmaid’s Tale was a little melanin.
