      „I was meeting with Chris [Nolan] for the female role in the Batman trilogy, the next installment. I thought that I’d gamed it out, because I was just like, ‘It can’t be Catwoman because Michelle Pfeiffer was so iconic… [gasp] It’s going to be Harley Quinn!‘ So, I spent a week developing demonic Harley Quinn energy. I was wearing weird jester flats and a striped top. And then, about two hours into our conversation, Chris is like, ‘So, the part’s Catwoman,’ and I was like, ‘Transform!’ So, I just then decided that I was like, ‘Well, this top is very sensual.’ And I was going to be very… like a psychopath. I changed personalities like a psychopath.”

      I love Anne Hathaway, but tbh I don’t think she could have pulled off Harley, nor would Harley fit that well in the Nolanverse.

      Her acting on the dark night rises is probably the worst part of the movie. She wasn’t meant to play that role.

      Well she did a great job, but I still don’t know what she did to the politician she “kidnapped”.

      I mean, Anne is beautiful, but I still have questions

      A bit surprising considering TDK kind of foreshadows Catwomen’s arrival. Bruce even asks how his batsuit does against cats.

      Seems a bit foolish to prep for Harley Quinn.

      Even before the film with Ledger’s death, I doubt they were doing a joker related thing again.

      I couldn’t take her Catwoman very seriously. She might have been a better Harly.

      I saw some of the wardrobe tests for a couple of the ladies considered for Catwoman.

      Anne Hathaway was great, but Jessica Biel in costume. I would like to have seen more of that.

      I like that she knew who Harley Quinn was because I feel like at the time, despite being such a prominent character in the comics since the 90’s, she’s not a classic batman character being from the animated series first.
