It’s sad to hear that such protests are happening in my city. Even sadder that they’re being carried out by nationalists. It’s a double failure.
This only means that the official authorities are, in principle, in favor of welcoming Islam in Poland. When the need for such protests arises, it means the battle is already lost. Instead of immediately saying a firm no, the authorities are starting to flirt with Islamists. And now it looks very ugly. A tolerant government, and a bunch of fringe nationalists. Guess who will win.

Most of the comments are disgraceful and disgusting, fuelled by hatred and misunderstanding. Muslims have lived in Poland for hundreds of years. They are an integral part of our history and have a right to worship and live in peace.

Another reason why Konf. voting people in Poland should stop spreading hatred towards people from Ukraine.
If Ukrainian people don’t feel welcome in Poland anymore, they will move to other countries.
Then Polish firms will soon have shortages of workers.
Due to much higher salaries in Western Europe, very few Europeans will be interested in a job in Poland.
So Polish employers will then be interested in workers from muslim countries around the Mediterranean.
(i am not Ukrainian myself, i am a business man from Western Europe who is living in Poland).
Lol, Islam is present in Poland for like 600 years and the oldest mosque in Kruszyniany is over 200 years old, even Józef Bem converted to Islam at some point so what exactly seems to be the problem?
