    1. What’s wrong with residents living in Ginza shopping for groceries in Ginza? Give it a break.

The actual problem Ginza has is that all luxury shopping areas in the world now are enshittified by non-differentiatability. Every shop sells the same shit made by the same designers from the same factories in every luxury shopping area in the world. The same class of people gets a plane from city to city to buy essentially the same goods on a different street.

I thought everyone was a commoner except the royal family. Am I wrong?

    4. I happen to buy lunch from that OK sometimes and it’s funny how it’s always crowded around the Bento corner, even with high end madamu

    5. Yeah, no this article is not true. While supposedly cheaper restaurants are opening there. It’s actually the opposite, because they are in Ginza they raise their prices and hope to get a more „prestige“ image through being there…. restaurants in Ginza are still quite significantly more expensive than in other places.

Additionally as others have pointed out, if ginza becomes a more „commoner“ accessible district, that would actually be good, luxury brands make their money by appearing exclusive and to portray a „higher“ status, which honestly nobody needs, as it’s solely used for discrimination towards people of „lower“ status.
