Feel so sorry the children. Losing both parents at such a young age.
Don’t forget that Doug very likely took advantage of her following Rob’s death.
She sued Doug and Randy for $16.5M for mishandling Rob’s estate.
“In the suit filed Friday in Ontario Superior Court, Renata Ford says Doug and his brother Randy, who run the Ford family businesses, „conspired together“ to deprive her and her children of shares in the family company Deco Toronto and the proceeds of a life insurance policy. The brothers are trustees for their late brother’s estate.”

In addition to being his wife, she also tried entering politics as a candidate for the people’s Party of Canada and was a vocal anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorist. Their eldest child, Stephanie, is now 20 and working for the Provincial conservatives in various roles while at university while I believe her son Dougie is still in high school.
So very young for the children to have lost both parents and also have a pretty dysfunctional extended family providing little guidance.
