stop using „adlibbed acting“ as an excuse to touch people. it blows my mind how many comments I see online defending him.

    2. Am I missing something?

Is this something more than a different (c-list) celebrity commenting on the hot news?

Why should I care what the composer from a 90s anime thinks?

      Not that I disagree…

Edit: to the downvoters – the headline here is a criticism of unnamed producers, promoting a narrative that shifts blame away from the perpetrator, Jiro Sato.

“He was never told it was a problem, so this is all just a big misunderstanding caused by bad producers.”

Consider why a media outlet would seek out a quote from an unrelated lower-tier celebrity to put that pro-Sato narrative in front of us.  (Even if it is anti-FujiTV.)

    3. In the rush to be on the “right side” of this one, y’all are upvoting a story that adopts a narrative that reduces the perpetrator’s culpability.

The headline here assumes it to be true and relevant that Sato was never told that Hashimoto objected.

Then it criticizes the people who should have relayed that message without naming them.

      This is Sato PR.
