Two players stand on opposite sides of a line with a stick placed in the middle. Neither player can cross the center line unless they actually pick up the stick.

The objective is to bring back the stick behind your line or bait your opponent into making a mistake. If you pick up the stick and your opponent touches you before you make it back across to your side, you score a point. If you fake reaching for the stick and your opponent touches you without you actually picking it up, you also score a point. If you really do grab the stick, you’re then allowed to cross the center line as part of the play.
