Bitcoin hat gerade das schlechteste erste Halbjahr seit Jahren abgeschlossen, mit einem Rückgang von 34 %. Sind wir geduldig oder selbstgefällig?

I don’t really know what „believing“ in bitcoin long term means at this point.

Are people imagining a post-apocalyptic world where all traditional forms of value transfer have vanished but… people still have internet connections and phones and… transact in bitcoin… and its worth trillions but there are still data centers mining it? But everything else is in ruins? Like I’m literally trying to piece together the fantasy at this point. In what possible world is this 200 terawatt planet heater useful?

    2. More people need to understand the bigger picture:

      1. Bitcoin isn’t as exciting as it used to be.

      2. It didn’t live up to expectations

      3. It may still be an instrument to earn money

      4. As a short-mid term investment. (Holding strategy – pretty ass)

      5. Getting new people to be interested buyers is challenging.

I’m a casual, but I researched the point in the year where the dip will be greatest, which is also the turning point to the next highest price ever. Someone more knowledgeable tell me if this is wrong, but October should be the lowest point before it returns to all time highs over the next cycle?

    4. Trump was the main driver of cryptos last bull cycle with all his ‘promises’

Adoption and integration of bitcoin has hardly moved in 4 years

That’s why bitcoin is gonna go only one trajectory…..downnn

At this point in every cycle people always say it’s dead, why don’t we wait and see what it looks like a year from the next halving

Fundamentally I am bearish on BTC long term. I don’t see why the power that be would ever allow it to become „the world’s currency“, especially when there are token that will eventually serve a purpose that would be useful to governments and major financial institutions. There still may be a decade or two of gains to be had in BTC but the days of 10xing your money every few years in BTC are long gone and frankly the stock market has become a far more attractive option park money and search for fast gains.

Are people new to this shit or what? Fuck me just wait a year or two, you should know the crack by now

    8. The fuck do you mean complacent what exactly would you have us do lol. Let me just go out and push the price up a bit?

It’s a market. We accepted the risks by buying into it. Now we wait and adapt

This guy (OP) and many commenters here are salty perma-bears owning 0.

They hate it, yet cant shut up about it and love spending their time and energy hating on it. Bitcoin lives rent free in their minds.

Seems like it only does well when we have disposable income for most of the population. Also feels like AI hype overshadowed crypto hype/news

    11. Bitcoin moves like clockwork to the point where it’s dubious and people are still caught off guard

every cycle seems to have one of these stretches where it feels like it’s just never turning around. the people who end up looking smart a year later are usually the ones who just tuned out the daily red and kept dca-ing through the boring part instead of trying to time the bottom. are you changing anything or mostly just riding it out?

    13. Look i’m as stupid as all of you, but I’ll take my decisions in line with the current market makers and not reddit losers. Lol
