Juni berichtete.

    1. Yes, it’s their imperial mindset. They have never stopped wanting to spread their amazing society to the rest of the world. They are so sad we live in misery without shelter or electricity and are so proud that almost half of their population has indoor plumbing and they want everyone to enjoy these privileges.

    2. While it is true, the threat will be very diluted and give an opportunity for a reset of sorts.

    3. Destroy its energy business, its arms business, and keep bombing it to dust until the end of time, so the half of their state revenue coming from those two, as well as arms they can afford with it, with the arms industry contributing relatively little to the revenue but a lot given how cheap their labor is and the purchasing power parity advantage they have if they use domestic industry, pound it to dust during and after this war and until the end of time, and they won’t do what the Swedes are saying.

      Keep bombing that shit. Forever.

And if you’re thinking “can’t they use the other half of their state revenue to fund it?”

Hitler for as far as about 75% of his GDP going to the war at its peak. Surely Russia can find more to squeeze?

Remember than other than those two, Russia exports relatively little. It has forever offered a lot of very cheap gasoline and diesel domestically, and a lot of Russian business is built on business models that assume this.

Destroy their energy production, and you didn’t just sever 45% of their pre-war state revenue, even before touching the arms trade. You also made domestic fuel scares and expensive, spiked the cost of transport and indirectly of everything that depends on it, and broken the back of every business and contributor to GDP whose business model requires fuel to stay cheap.

Encourage, help fund, support and generally help Ukraine finish the job, and then rather than stop keep on actively re-finishing it, like Israel and the violently Iranian proxies that surround it. Go in and trim the lawn every so often, as much as you need to, as often as you need to, until the end of time.

Then Moscow has less means, and we are all more safe.

    4. So long as russia exists, it’s a threat to itself and everything around it. It’s too baked into their culture to be barbarians.

    5. Did anyone ever think otherwise? If it was just Putin, Putin would not be in power.
