What is the argument? War has meant that an enemy’s supply shipping on the high seas is a fair target for, like, thousands of years. What, is that suddenly open to question when it’s Ukraine? Is everyone suddenly standing the fuck around scratching their asses and wondering, „Gee, fellas, could supplies be far targets in war, gosh I dunno, mmm, aaaah, hmmm, what a vexing question.“
No. Fuck off. It’s not a vexing question. It’s not a question at all. If the Financial Times finds that alarming, the solution to this alarming situation is for Russia to end the war. Until then, Russian ships are going to get blown up.

So long as they do it in Russian, Ukrainian, or International waters, it is legal. That’s war. Just don’t do it in someone else’s waters, like Turkey or Greece without their permission.

I will make it legal.
I hereby issue a letter of marque to Ukraine against Russia’s shadow fleet.
