I wish I could bring in every single one of those people on this sub who told me I was delusional when I said Norway will be a top team in the world within 5 to 10 years and their next generation will have world class superstars.
This was before qualification was over and I was told „Norway are bad and have always been bad“ and „You’re overestimating us“ and „We won’t even qualify“.
I replied with, „The same Norway who beat Italy? Are we talking about the same team?“
And I got so much grief for it.
I’m a British coach of ten years and I’ve always had a knack for seeing potential in players, so this all seemed obvious to me. Man, I wish I could retrieve that thread.

I’ve been cheering for Norway on the side before the world cup began (I think the players are really good and i’ve been a fan ever since the Israel match), i even placed my „fictional bet“ in Norway winning the World Cup, and now, unbeknownst to me.. You guys are against my home country 😅, may the best team win!
