      We know WHY they apologized🙄

      Snippet:

      * Fox News has issued a series of on-air apologies after Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary made unfounded allegations linking critics of his vast AI data center project in Utah to the Chinese government.
      * The retraction was broadcast across four separate programs on Fox News and Fox Business over a four-day period, Mediaite reported. During a 45-second segment on The Big Weekend Show, host Johnny Joey Jones said O’Leary had corrected his initial comments regarding the Stratos Project data center development. O’Leary had appeared on Fox May 24 to discuss the ongoing furor over his Utah data center project.
      * “He made certain claims relating to the opponents of his project. Mr. O’Leary has now corrected the record,” Jones said, adding that the Shark Tank star had “no evidence” that his opponents to the project “are funded by China or the Chinese communist party.”
      * **Jones added that the network similarly found no proof that the critics were operating under the direction of, or in coordination with, Chinese interests, concluding the segment with an apology from Fox News Media for the error.**
      * **O’Leary’s massive AI infrastructure project in rural Utah has become mired in controversy. While he has defended the development as a critical national defense asset, local lawmakers and conservationists have challenged the facility over its projected 9-gigawatt power demand and potential environmental impact on the Great Salt Lake.**

      A 45 second apology probably aired at 2:00 a.m. doesn’t stop lawsuits.

    3. „They probably are, we just can’t prove it“ all of maga, unironically

They don’t  want anymore smoke after those voting machine fraud lawsuits. Somebody ran the numbers and didn’t  like what they saw.

    5. The girls that he accused of being funded by the Chinese government came out with a hilarious video in response. They are two sweet young activists that truly care about Utah. I highly recommend everyone watches it so you can see how fucking stupid Kevin O’Leary is. https://youtu.be/JDy6UrHittQ

They admitted in court they are not news, they’re entertainment. So, take their reporting with a pound of salt.

Damn how crazy do you have to be that fox has to apologize on your behalf?

Oof. You know you’re outside when even Fox News distances themselves.

      FYI from another article:

      >In a social media post Friday (last week), O’Leary pulled back his unsubstantiated claims, while stopping short of apologizing.

      >“Recently I appeared on various news programs and would like to clarify that I have no evidence that Alliance for a Better Utah, Elevate Strategies, Gabrielle Finlayson, Taylor Knuth or Josh Kanter are funded by China or the Chinese Communist Party,“ O’Leary wrote.

Canadian financial predator freaks out over Americans defending their land.

He can be forgiven to a degree for thinking it is okay to go on Fox News and tell blatant lies. They do it 24/7.

I’m sorry, this got a 45 second retraction but there was nothing after Navarro literally said it’s an „indisputable fact“ that Fauci created COVID and is responsible for millions of deaths?

It’s a shitty cable tv outlet who has gone on record as stating they’re NOT a news source, they’re just entertainment. How the fuck they’re still allowed to be known as FOX News is completely beyond me and frankly, seem quite illegal. The fact that there idiots out there stupid enough to not follow the news closely enough to realize that all of this is posturing bullshit smoke and mirrors meant to do just one thing, divide a nation so the rich and powerful can steal all of your money and leave you with zero choices but to be a slave.

They’ll say the lie for hours and even days and then take it back for 10 seconds

    15. His credibility is shot and was before this.

He’s a liar trying to get on the government’s welfare tit.

    16. Tv shows don’t have to retract anything. Only news organizations need to do that.

      I’m confused

    17. deepaknaraniya on

That’s why evidence matters. It’s good they issued a correction, but misinformation can spread much faster than retractions.

    18. RamonaQ-JunieB on

And yet, Fox will continue to have O’Leary on to lie about this and basically everything else he is doing.

    19. Nothing_Pearsonal on

Kevin was trying to pull from the Trump playbook of say blatant lies and never backdown. For some reason Trump’s immunity to truth didn’t transfer to him

I’m reading the book „London Falling“ by Patrick Radden Keefe and he reveals that O’Leary went into business with a murdering mobster from England regarding Data centers in North Dakota called Bitzero along with Mark Burnet of „The Apprentice“ fame. Turds of a feather….

    21. blackmobius on

They are being informed by legal that saying wild stupid shit is getting them sued. So they are finally airing retractions because the money being made from spouting off at the mouth on air is less than the lawsuits its causing

    22. As a Canadian, we have a lot of people we can be eternally proud of. Terry Fox is a national hero for attempting to run across the country while battling cancer. Michael J. Fox is a wonderful soul afflicted with another terrible disease.

Kevin O’Leary is like that pervy uncle we don’t talk about. We knows he’s done some shady shit. We don’t condone it. Also, didn’t his wife kill someone by drunk boating?

You can keep him. We don’t need whatever it is that he has.
