Woohoo. Now this is good news. Destroying people’s cars with shit fuel will result in angry, rebellious Russians. More of it. Let’s see the Octane number drop to zero.

    2. All according to plan. If you cannot supply consumers, reduce the number of consumers. Big Brain!

I was just reminded of that bit in Mad Max 2 where Max is catching spilling guzzoline in anything at hand..a dirty old helmet, a saucepan, broken bottle….

      Translation (AI):

      “Lukoil, thanks, brothers.”

“Meanwhile, someone over there was in a Škoda, but at least he had the light one. And does it burn? This fuel was bought for 380 rubles per liter.”

“Crimean gasoline for 380 rubles, part 2, two more cars. Come on, have a look. Not bad, right, what’s the reaction to that?”

    5. Yeah, that’s exactly what I expected, after all, the Chinese aren’t stupid, and they’re currently dumping all their excess ((very) old!) fuel capacity from their own country into Russia at exorbitant prices, just so that their vehicles will break down en masse. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

    6. I m telling you, this is the collapsing of russia in real time ! I have been allowed to be alive 2 times while russia collapse 😉

    7. Some enterprising orc has been scooping up the run off from the refineries that were on fire and selling it to the gas stations.

I don’t speak Russian, but I can still read “Lukoil, bros, thanks!” 🤣

      google says:

As a private individual, it is not possible to reliably or safely increase the octane rating of purchased gasoline.

      Technical source:
Octane rating is defined and determined using standardized engine test methods (for example ASTM D2699 and D2700), comparing fuel behavior to reference mixtures of iso-octane and n-heptane. It is not something that can be accurately modified after production by simple mixing or additives without controlled refinery or laboratory processes.

    10. that’s probably why these gas station owners dilute the gasoline when they get it. the profit is higher that way.

if it weren’t for the war, the authorities would probably have them on the hook for that (in ex-socialist countries, small cheats always get slapped) but now because of the crisis they probably won’t touch them.

The question of all questions is how useful this is for the Ukrainians, will the people blame them or Putin for this. If the Russians start blaming the government, that would be nice, the war would end sooner.

      1. The guy showing the bottle: „this oil was bought for 380 rubles per liter“.
      2. The guy showing the oil tank: “Look. Pretty good rusting”

The text close to the end: “Crimean oil, at 380 rubles, part 2, 2 more cars”.

      —-
My comments: the general theme is that this is diluted oil that was being sold on the black market(380 rubles), to people in Crimea, it’s not something sold at the gas stations.

Omg I didn’t even think about the orcs doing that too to themselves 😂😭

If you have fuel, take 1/2 of it, mix it with 10 pieces of water. for the smell. then sell it for >>200 rubel / l.

use your remaining fuel to get away from the angry crowd

and of course, as a real russian the fuel you got is stolen from the military. all the others do the same if they had the chance.

It’s always fuel. People getting killed – no problem. They start wars – no fucking problem.

You take healthcare from people – you know what?! No problem.

But no gas… that’s serious. Then the leader are in fear.

So if you start a war, what i don’t hope, kill the gas Station and the reffenery. So you have an easy win.

    15. Royal-Challenge-5125 on

Not only as fuel, but also as lubricant. The black stuff floating on top is charred vegetable oil.

Temperatures are summer high and still this „fuel“ unmixes.

    16. Majestic-Chef-8753 on

Scalpers thinning the fuel for more profits.. they really do hate eachother. Making tons of money on helpless fellow citizens reselling fuel isnt enough. They need to make 10% more profit by diluting it, even if it means they have to hurt their fellow citizen

    17. So some can’t drive due to lack of fuel, the rest will screw up their engines due to shitty fuel.

      win-win

Instructions to mechanic: Drop a match into the tank to see if it will burn. If not, then that is just water that needs to be drained out.

      Just providing some helpful guidance.

If your car breaks down, you don’t need gasoline. The issue has become full circle.

    20. Seems that what Senator John McCain said about Russia being “a gas station masquerading as a country“ isn’t true any longer.
