Every single Armenian I know, including me, swears 7 times in a sentence that has 3 words.
In greece is Pretty common to say „fuck mother marry“, „fuck your Jesus“.
Religious or not. Such a shitty habit especially if you are religious, because then if the person curses as a reaction to something you did.. „look what you’ve made me do, cursing the holy“
The hypocrisy here is crazy.
On the other side you have religious people that get extremely mad when people do that. Even fighting each other in extreme situations…

On X, auto-translated Turkish and Azeri tweets will often show up in my timeline. Turkey swears *a lot*, I was taken aback by just how much. Azerbaijan much less so.
Something to know about old school east armenians. around „The Guys“ they’ll cuss up a storm sure. but around women and kids, you are gonna get called out for it. same story if you’re a random guy that nobody knows. This is one of the very few parts of armenia’s toxic shame culture and patriarchy that i like.
We do swear a lot, much less than Russians. Swearing in Russia is a form of art. But we have swear phrases that is impossible to translate.
