Japan has way too much to change to become competitive and strengthen its economy, and I don’t see any of their politicians really doing anything to start that change.

Hate to say it but I can definitely see 180-200 in the future.

    2. The LDP has decided to inflate their way out of the debt crisis. Get ready for years of inflation.

    3. Japanese politics. They keep drawing lines in the sand but the waves keep coming and they just look on.

Reversal is never happening, the question is how long can it hold until it stops going down. We very well could be looking at 1 USD / 250-300 yen in 5 years.

Better have your savings either in USD or the SP500.

…and my company wonders why I didn’t seem excited for the 1% raise I got for stellar performance last year…

    6. What propaganda is this they could only get this idea from talking to Benjamin netenyahu come on guys it’s obviously foreign peoples fault

    7. Well, the Japanese government is intervening in the markets to buy the Yen / sell USD periodically. That is what’s supporting it. It cannot keep doing it forever though.

It would help if the interest rates were higher, but it seems the current government does not want BOJ to do it.
