People got too comfortable with the economic prosperity that came upon the world after WW2, and forgot that the globalization was a key component of that. Now everyone wants isolationism while thinking their lives will remain the same under such policies.
The world will change massively as we see a major shift towards the right-wing isolationist nationalist policies. And we’ll be the ones struggling with that.
